Katrina Curé

Katrina’s roots in the dairy industry began on a multi-generational family dairy farm in Western Canada. After studying agriculture at the University of Manitoba, she launched a career with London Dairy Farms where her reputation for integrity and ‘getting the job done’’ has led the company to being the largest purveyor of milking cows in Canada. Fluently bilingual in English and French, Katrina has cultivated professional relationships across North America breaking barriers and stereotypes along the way. As head of sales for London Dairy Farms, her career involves a lot of travel which enhances her broader perspective, learning from colleagues and clients alike.
Benji Faulkner
President
Twenty years in the industry had taught Benji that profitable and efficient farms are the results of hard work, and having the right people in the right place. A calculated risk-taker with deep knowledge of the dairy industry, Benji championed dairy cattle to customers across Canada and internationally. Embracing the core values of quality, integrity and value, he has grown the London Dairy from the humble 100 cow-tie-stall barn to today’s freestall facility with 12,000 calving per year. He co-founded Area One Farms, a private equity firm that bridges the gap between equity and agriculture. Benji is a valued speaker at Harvard University presenting the proven model he’s developed for investing in Canadian agriculture.

Origins of Lorne’s family’ commodity business date back to 1899 in South Africa, The present finds the company trading commodities in over 80 countries supplying industrial bakeries and food manufacturers with specialty ingredients. He has spent extensive time, energy and research in understanding Canadian farmers how to manage inland logistics and ocean freight. He has a good reputation of supplying customers in a timely and cost effective manner.
